A while ago I published a post about sunsets in Turkey. No matter which destination it is, I love sitting there and watching the sun go down at the end of a long, hot day.
So imagine my delight when I opened an email from Adrian at the traveltosun.com website and there was a gorgeous picture of a golden sunset over Kusadasi. I was eager to publish this picture and asked Adrian to tell me how he ended up in Kusadasi and about the photograph.
Photo of the sunset in Kusadasi
Adrian said “One of the things we love most about Turkey (and especially about Kusadasi) is the hospitality of the people. During the last couple of years we have also visited Istanbul and Kemer and we plan to see other places in Turkey in the near future too. While we are sure that we will find the same warm hospitality everywhere we’ll go, the place where we had the best time was, undoubtedly, Kusadasi.
Starting with the comfort of our hotel room and continuing with the delicious food, the fantastic atmosphere at the pool and the lovely weather during early September, everything was made for a memorable vacation. Above all though, the thing we cherish the most was the sunset we admired from the terrace of our restaurant and the beach near the hotel or our balcony.
Every evening the sun would quietly hide into the sea, while the only things disturbing the silence were the click shots that captured this magical moment. This photo was made from our balcony, so do take a sea view room if go to Kusadasi and plan to take some really amazing photos of the sunset from the comfort of your room.”
I loved this story from Adrian but I must also admit that I have a fondness for hotels in Kusadasi. I had the pleasure of working with a number of them for a summer season as a rep, but I also spent my wedding night in a five star hotel in Kusadasi and received fantastic service and hospitality. Many thanks to Adrian for the picture and you can catch up with more of his travel stories at one of the following places where you will normally find him, if he is not on the road traveling.
